Forgotten username or password
If you have forgotten your username or password, go to your commercial or savings bank and get new ones issued on the presentation of identification documentation.
Username does not exist or wrong password
If you receive a message of username not existing or password not being correct, please check the following:
- Check if the Caps-lock or Num-lock buttons are on.
- Check whether you are using upper and lower case letters in the correct places in the username and password.
If you cannot successfully type in your correct username and password in three attempts, the Internet bank will be locked for security reasons and you will need to go to your commercial or savings bank and have a new username and password assigned to you.
The login window appears again and again after username and password have been typed in.
If the login window appears again and again after username and password have been typed in, the browser´s temporary files and cookies need to be deleted. In Internet Explorer go to Tools and select Internet Options. In General-tab, click the Delete...-button in the Browser history-part. Click the buttons Delete files... and Delete cookies... in the view which opens up.
Authentication key has been denied
For security reasons, there is a limit to how often an incorrect authentication number may be typed in. If you receive the error message Authentication key has been denied , you need to contact your bank and obtain directions as to how to proceed. In most instances, you will need to go to the bank and have the authentication key re-activated.
Registration problems may occur if you go into your Internet bank through Leit.is or through other shortcuts. We also do not recommend that the Internet bank url is kept in favorites or bookmarks.
